Newbie here and new to this forum.

I recently received my new Phantom 3 Advance and I love it!

However, I don't know if I have a  dud controller or what. lol
When my phantom first arrived, I fired everything up and was aware that it would more then likely require a firmware upgrade and it indicated as such.
Downloaded the files that were available at the time (P3S_FW_V01.07.0060) upgraded the phantom without any issue then proceeded to upgrade the controller as per the instruction video and it would not do anything. No blue light no nothing. I decided at that point to try to upgrade via the controller itself /wifi and that was successful. I never paid any attention to what version it upgraded too. All I knew is it said successful and everything seem to work fine and still does.
As of last week I was prompted to upgrade and once again I downloaded the files (P3S_FW_V01.08.0080) and once again the phantom itself upgraded without any problem and the controller once again would not upgrade through the usb. I then upgraded as before through the controller / wifi or so I thought I did.... my controller reads version 1.6.0?
Isn't the controller and aircraft suppose to be at the same version?

App      Version 2.7.2
Aircraft Version 1.8.80
RC       Version  1.6.0
