Looking at my settings for timelapse and the maximum duration is only 5 hours , is there any way to extend this ?

Why would you like to extend the duration? And how long would you like to extend it to?
Considering the battery's life, I think 5 hours may be enough for you.
What do you think?

We also need to consider the volume of the SD card, the recommended Max. volume is 64G. If you shoot the timelapse a whole day long, would the SD card be capable of saving all the footage and pictures?
Plus, the Osmo may need to be switch off to cool itself down, in high temperature, the performance may be not so good as expected.
I'll confirm with our engineers further about this issue, if I have any update for you, I'll let you know.

Actually, there's an option of setting it as infinite, please double  check the menu in the DJI GO App.
However, considering all the factors, I think 5 hours may be long enough normally. Of course, it depends on the situations!

But why not allow it?
Let the Osmo shut down if it overheats. Battery life isn't an issue with an external power supply.
And the storage limit is no problem with long intervals..

Hello,
When i start night timelapse in my dji action 4 without battery using external power source, it automatically shut down in the middle of night everytime.
Please suggest what can i do foe this?
