Very interesting. Never seen a case like this. The other day I found a backpack for $40 that can hold a phantom + batteries when you arrange the dividers properly. There's a picture of the layout on the reviews page.

Looks cool but that's is a lot of wasted space. We're testing this one at the moment and I think I prefer it. Should know somehere next week what we think about it.

Good idea but I hate the foam case the phantom 4 comes with, gotta struggle to get the remote out of it everytime.
but it is better than nothing at all.
I am waiting on the release of the Nanuk case for the P4

The case the P4 comes in will hold two batteries if you leave the charger out.

Actually the case the P4 comes in will hold two additional batteries and the charger goes opposite with the spare props on top, slot for the iPad but no room for sandwiches!!! :-)

Just got this in....nice...solid...love that you do not have to take off the propellers,  and that was mainly the reason I bought it. However. Definitely not a good "mobile"  case if you have to move around a lot between shoots. Definitely on the heavier side. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01D96K6DW/

I don't know about that, it looks like quite the rip off to me as you can buy very nice cases to fit the original box for far less money...but why would anyone want to use the factory box in another case anyway...I just think that there are way better options available IMHO...YMMV

Not so sure the cases that allow the props to stay on are a good deal. Brother has an earlier model, it got to where it refused to fly. He discovered that the case foam had deformed the props enough to cause them not to fly as they should. New set of props and his old one fly's again.

I don't mind the cases that allow you to keep the props on but I certainly wouldn't store the bird with the props on for any measurable time period, the props are something that should be checked immediately prior to flight and what better way than to accomplish that by installing them prior to your flight...if you are in a hurry (weather) to pack up though it is nice just to throw everything in the case (props installed) and move on...I usually leave the props on after flight and take them off when I get home and start the process of charging batteries and inspecting, cleaning (bug guts) the bird, props etc. etc.

Depends on what you get. Pelican has cut outs in the lid to prevent that

I looked into the case club for the phantom but seems like the shipping is way out priced... Nice cases bit when your paying +$96 for freight doesn't seem so good

If you really want a case that utilizes the phantom four factory case I'd order this one...only $127CAD and free shipping, same idea as the OP listed case but less money in the end.

Or buy a proper case, you can get this "Canadian Product" with free shipping.

That is an older model - the new one is the Lowepro Droneguard 450 (not 400)

I'm in Australia - it compared favorably to other similar size bags. The 450 has more internal work than the 400. The P4 plus accessories fit very well. My favorite is definitely the ThinkTank Helipack, the same size  bag can hold a lot more accessories plus other stuff.
