Anyone that bought a new phantom in the UK. Could you tell me if your item shipped from UK or abroad.

I asked them on chat and said they could only tell me where it will be shipping from and how long it would take after I make a purchase.

I would like to know these things before I make a purchase.

I ordered one at Maplins at the local store last Wednesday  (20th), and it arrived on Monday (25th), still in original brown cardboard outer box with a British Airways shipping sticker saying it was from Hong Kong.

Ultimately it must have shipped from abroad at some point.

Maplins have a 30 day returns policy (no quibble) with a 365 day replace (note, not repair), refund or credit note policy for faulty goods. So a good place to buy from, although at present no special offers on batteries, which DJI and now Apple (via a voucher scheme) do.

Apple have these in stock I think, with a two week returns policy (as it turns out in UK you have a legal right to open goods for inspection, and return for refund within two weeks, for whatever reason).
