Tonight I tested the visibilty range of my DIY 50cm LED RGB Helipad.
Just before dark fell I climbed to 495ft.
As you can see the heilipad is just visible.
At 300 ft it's easily visible.
Conclusion:
Whilst in FPV at dusk/twilight/nighttime, a 50cm illuminated helipad can be spotted from 300ft above the vicinity.

At the end of the video, when you are landing, the helipad looks like an approaching UFO !!!
