This is the part that scares me:  "It states an individual is guilty of harassment if they hover over or land on someone’s property, or use a drone for no legitimate purpose."

What the hell is a "legitimate purpose?"

Yes not so many guns about, but they are there especially on farms or country manors for sport shooting.

So what would you do?

There you are innocently minding your own business on your estate or farm or even at a private shoot hitting clay discs when a p3p passes at 60m? Ha ha ha must be so tempting just for a laugh to take a shot at it right?

Shooting at an airborn object not knowing where it will fall to the ground is very irresponsible to say the least and I dont understand why a judge ruled in his favour.
IMHO both parties carry the blame. The drone operator should not have hovered above the garden and the shooter should not have shot it but just had a talk to his neighbour.

But in America this is a federal offence to shoot a drone down. So why the judges ruling? Makes no sence!
