With managements blessing I got the opportunity to make a few unique flights over this industrial complex with my P3P.

I love industry! Here in California we don't produce anything and whine and moan about people who produce that which we consume in vast quantities. It's nice to see things actually do happen some places.  Oh, and the video is nice. I'd give some erudite comments but I have no artistic ability or understanding.

Thanks, I guess it is a unique subject, did a YouTube search and found nothing like it.

I think if you even asked to do it anywhere down here on the Gulf Coast the first call would be to Homeland Security and the next would be the FBI.   

You made a very interesting video.   Good job.......

Thanks robotizen and dbensonp.  Did have to deal with some strong wind gusts as you can see in the horizontal smoke from the stacks.

Where in California do you live? I think you need to open your eyes. There are 5 oil refineries and 3 chemical plants in the SF Bay Area. I'm thinking if I tried to fly over any one of them, even if I worked in one, it wouldn't go over well.

Oh my eyes are open and all I see are anti-business pro government-giveaway I-don't-want-to-work take-care-of-me-people. That being said, even in a sea of inequity there are still some righteous people who refuse to cow down to the establishment of government dependence. I have the fortune and misfortune of living in Mendocino county where business is actively and with prejudice discouraged, yet all feel entitled to government subsidized food vouchers, socialized medicine, PG&E Care Program benefits and free lunches at public schools all the while growing dope and not paying taxes. But I digress.

Yea I'm thinking that flying over the oil refinery isn't a good idea

No interference issues during the flight.  Did limit my range to 500m.
