I'm guessing this is compensation for the people who bought their P4's before the package deals were available. Today you can buy the P4 direct from the DJI store for a discounted price with extra batteries.

the numbers on the white sticker in my phantom come up as not a serial number ????

I preordered and received my P4 from Maplin Electronics a few weeks ago in the UK before the battery bundle offer was available. The batteries weren't available separately and still seem hard to get in the UK. I had to order direct from DJI a few days ago. I'd have loved to have two batteries for the price of one...

How long is the code as i have 2x 7 digit codes on the wite sticker ?

Maplins UK purchase here, no deals as yet. But I managed to negotiate a 30% discount on 2 batteries (delivery in about 10 days). But I was buying the P4 and could have just walked.

DJI have been informed of the serial problems.

They said to try it later on.

They have emailed me back saying its the wrong serial, please re check it !!

Tried to claim coupon but keeps asking for serial number.  Am using the one from inside the bat compartment and double checked it against one on box!  Are the zeros zeros or Oh's? Only thing I can think of as being wrong.  Tired live chat and too busy sent email and no answer

Mail sales on onlinesales@dji.com. and they will sort out the issue why your S/N is not working . May take 24 hrs

Discount? Your still paying $85 a battery hello!!! (I ordered two extras myself- I have no shame)

Sadly, I didn't get any batteries other than the one that came with the P4 itself. I've been struggling to find any UK battery stock and ended up buying direct from DJI at full price.

I get cc points as I pay pp with that cc, it adds insurance, doubles the manufacturers warranty and gives me free trips once or twice a year. I pay for everything I can using that cc even groceries, as long as I don't carry a balance it all works out in my favour!

I sure hope they have something for the people who did not buy Apple, I supported my local dealer and that should not be a reason to not provide DJI customers the same benefit.

I had the same issue with the S/N not being recognised then I accidently pressed a 5 instead of a 4 as the last digit and it worked.  I have tried telling DJI support about the issue but they aren't interested.

I hope it doesn't prevent the person with that actual serial number from getting the discount that is due to them.

I am confused...

I ordered my p$ with extra battery from DJI before it was even available.
I received an $89 credit only I would have preferred a two for one battery coupon instead.
How are DJI basing these credits can someone explain please..

It's both all in one string.

I believe you only got a credit if you bought extra batteries at the same time as the initial pre-purchase, people who purchased only one battery recieved $89USD and those who bought two or more were given $178USD. I bought three extra with my initial pre-purchase and recieved the later, on the credit line it was described as a "price match". I didn't receive the battery coupon code but it would have been nice, I'm also not going to complain as DJI was kind enough to give me something where they were not really  obligated to give me anything...some will find a reason to be dissatisfied regardless.

I purchased at an Apple Store in the US - link took my serial number (which I grabbed from the box) and gave me the 50% discount on "up to 2 batteries".    Thanks OP.

I bought my first one from DJI sent it back a week later due to fault.  Bought my second one from apple.  A few days later I saw DJI was offering better deals with extra batteries.  The reason I pre ordered was due to the way DJI advertised the P4 as a pre release special price and indicated that it will increase at a later date.  I was miffed when I saw the better deals and complained which resulted in DJI sending me the link for the battery discount.

So, I enter my serial number on the DJI offer page and it gives me a coupon code and tells me the coupon code is registered to an email address in the UK (info@hobbymounts.co.uk) and that I need to use that email address to claim the discount. No - that's not MY email address.  Uh, I purchased my P4 from an Apple store in Houston, TX.  WTH!  So, of course when I try to use the discount code it tells me it is no longer valid.  Now what????  Very aggravating!  Should have known it wasn't going to be easy.

I wonder if someone is just entering random numbers and claiming people's codes. Or this business in the UK managed to get a batch of serial numbers from Apple some how...takes all kinds.
I would talk to DJI, if you registered your bird with this serial number then you should be the only person who should be able to collect on that serial number!

Be nice if they do something like this for people like me who bought from Best Buy
