Do I need to keep the bin file in my micro SD card, or after the update is successful do I delete it.
Thanks

You can delete it after upgrading successfully.

I say leave it in.  If you get a new battery, the fw can then update it automatically.  (This was a tip I picked up a few months ago from someone else.  Sure enough, one day I went out to fly with a battery that hadn't been updated.  I hadn't even thought about it. Sure enough, it updated it on the spot.)

Completely agree with this ^^^^^^^

When I do an update, I update the battery that is in the P3P.  The other three batteries I have get updated when I turn the P3P on to fly.  Takes an extra half minute and I'm back hovering.

Why be lazy and sloppy?  When you upgrade, do all of the batteries at the same time.  Then get rid of the extra file on your stick.

Totally up to you, I always delete and if i ever got another battery and that update had an battery update then I just download the BIN file again.
You don't want anything on the SD card, so if you leave it in and get another battery you will have photos/videos on the SD card and you do not want anything on it so you should format it anyways. And if you just delete the photos/videos there's still other data on the SD card.

Formatting the SD card means deleting all the files on it.
