My Phantom 2 Version 2 accidently crashed into the beach water.  Can I just by the unit itself without the remote or H3-3D gimbal, since the one I have is practically new.

Not from DJI. But, you might be able to find someone selling a used one in pieces.

Try ebay I have found all types of offers for cheap Phantoms but be forewarned since I have won the bid on THREE different Phantoms and ALL three times the seller backed out or was a fraudulent seller. Also there is a guy from NY that offers his service for $95. he does GREATY work I trust him he repaired my P2V+ Needed a compass and GPS fixing also he installed a retractable landing gear for me too he may have some for sale he has his # posted on his listing..
