Why is this guy doing it so different to what DJI say

Hi sir, there are two different way to activate compass calibration. One is just like what it shows in video, the same way as the phantom.  Another one is through app, Mode--Calibrate compass . Thanks!

I agree, this is not what is not what it shows in the Inspire1 user manual.  On page 50, (Step 2) says to "Hold the aircraft vertically with nose pointing downward, and rotate it 360 degrees around the center axis."

I just get why they would go to the trouble a video different to the manual, its pointless !! guess people just love confusing the issue even further
