As DJI will most likely not send me my FlexiMic in time till I need one, I would like to here some advice from you guys.I will be on a road trip for about 1 month and need a handy small osmo setup. I plan to use the extension rod with the phone holder.
I do own the Rode VideoMicro but it seems to big for my need. The FlexiMic would be perfect (size wise).
Is there any similar mic that is only held by its AUX port? Or should I just order the original one in another store?
Thanks

What I have tested so far there is no way to get undisturbed sound from a direct plug in microphone.
Besides quite a high background noise you will hear at least the clicking sound of the trigger.
Much better results you will get with the Rode VideoMicro.

On the first look the "Sony ECM DS70P" seems interesting. Thanks.
