so I was trying to get a case and there are so many options... What are yalls favorites?

Go for the DJI hardshell. It's the one with Dji top centre with 4 white tabs in each corner.

Pelican cases are nearly indestructible.  Photographers, myself included, have relied on them for years.
So as they are available for Phantoms as well I just added this one to my collection:

Microraptor uses Pelican cases (at least some of them) as well so definitely a point in their favor.

but, that's only because I keep spending well to much on my RC addiction....!
