That is very clever. The line must automatically drop somehow when pressure is applied.

That is really over-thinking the idea, all you need is a plastic clothes peg hanging from the aircraft. You clip the line into it and when the line is tugged, it comes out of the peg.

The unit is less than 50g and lifts the load in the middle of the drone, the best place.
