Jeff from PolarPro sent me a Gimbal Lock for the P4 and it got here today.

Initial first impressions are its super compact, easy to put on and much less of a hassle than the gimbal lock that comes included with the P4, fits my PolarPro filters just fine and even fits some Neewer filters that I have for the P4.

It feels sturdy and of good quality, only downside is that the camera does seem to move a bit from left to right if the P4 is moved quite a bit. But this isn't a huge deal at all since the gimbal lock is so much easier to put on.

From what Jeff told me, they said it will be released shortly. So keep an eye out on the site.

is this using the polarprofilters.com site? Definitely interested in this over the stock one.

I bought one of these hoping to replace the DJI OEM ones (because the clamps keep breaking) and it was so tight fit I felt it was going to break the gimbal. I had to return it...Maybe I just got a defective one.
