Hey

I've seen this case pop up in a couple of places. It looks pretty sweet and the price is good.

Does anyone have one, is it any good? I'm only a casual flier and don't need / can't afford one of the bigger professional cases but I don't want to sacrifice protection and get a cheaper backpack.

Any help appreciated!

Thanks

Looks like it's for Phantom 3...the P4 bird and RC would fit but the batteries wouldn't unless there is a separate model from the P4 which doesn't look to be the case on their website nor their Amazon listing...I'm going to go ahead and say that the included P4 box would serve you better than that case.

Agreed. I had this conversation with someone else on another thread about this exact case, even wheres theres pictures of the case empty, you can see the P4 batteries/gimbal clamp attached will NOT fit in the case they have displayed, unless they are selling something they arent showing. It could also be where you are required to cut the foam of the case to fit the P4, as has been the case with a few other cases that claimed to fit the P4.

I'm still using the case that came with my Phantom 4, I find the prices of the backpacks quite steep for what they are.  I'll keep looking until I find a reasonable backpack at a reasonable price *sigh*

As others have said though, this looks like it's designed for the P3 rather than the P4, I'd keep looking if I were you.

I got a backpack case for 50 on amazon. I think maybe it was designed for 3 but i have no issues fitting the phantom 4.

This one used to be 99 but seems to have gone up in price a bit (124, guess it's popular). We liked it though as it's very light. That said, it doesn't really offer protection on top

I don't think many backpacks offer much in the way of protection on the top...there are a few that do but most of them are designed to transport your device while in you custody. If you really need the extra protection (airline checked baggage etc) I would suggest buying a hard case or utilizing the factory packaging. Finding a nice backpack that with fit the factory box is not that hard to do IME.
