im not very versed on the best video settings for the inspire. Seeing most people don't have 4k TV yet and YouTube can't handle it nor can my iPad air and my tv. What's the best video settings I should set my inspire too?

Given the scenario you've just shared, the rational choice would be to shoot 1080p @ 60fps.

I shot some videos in 4k @ 30 fps and my Macbook Pro (circa mid-2011), 16GB RAM, 1TB Samsung Evo 6G SSD can barely handle it in iMovie. I don't even want to know how it will do in FCP or Premiere.

Let me know if you have a 1080p TV and I'll send you a link to two of my videos - one shot in 1080p and exported as 1080p, and another shot in 4k and exported to 1080p. You can see if there is a difference and decide for yourself if it's worth the hassle.

Cool. I do have a 1080p TV. Can you send the link.
My mac air laptop is also from 2010 and can't handle 4k video. I tried to export the 4k to 1080p using the basic Mac feature and it came out pretty fragmented /start stop.
I'm currently UL a 4k vid to YouTube. Let's see how that goes.
