My original battery lights look great. A nice constant green glow thanks to the diffuser between the LEDs and the display. The new battery I just bought looks horrible because the LEDs are directly visible, no diffuser. What idiot decided to save some fraction of a cent to make my Phantom 4 look like a cheap piece of Chinese junk?

I personally dislike the much brighter LEDs on the other type of battery then the nice elegant looking green one .

The diffuser is missing. That's a fact. I would say what I said here to the faces of the DJI reps at NAB had I known about it at the time. As it was, the battery arrived while I was on my trip. This greatly cheapens the look of the Phantom 4 and it is exactly the sort of thing that some penny pinching moron would do.

Weird and quite lame if true. All 3 of mine have them installed.

U sure they didn't just 'forget' to install it....

The battery that came with my original P4 had the diffuser, the two that I ordered separately, and the one that came with my new P4 don't.  Not sure which I prefer actually.
