Yesterday I purchased brand new Phantom 2 and HD 3D Gimbal. Everything is fine, but the camera on Gimbal is not "locked" after calibration in straight position. The lens of the camera is directed down, not in the horizontal position. What should I do?
When you first start your Phantom, it will hang at about 45 degrees , set by default. Does the camera move by your controls after everything is powered on?
Hey, Gerry
Thanks for the answer.
Yes, camera respond to the remote control, but it is not in straight position. Check out this video. What should I do?
I think in your PTs when you connect the Phantom to it, go to advanced and gimbal, it is there I think that you can set the horizontal and vertical limits of the gimbal. I don't have mine here to check it.
I would say horizontal at 0 and vertical at 90, but it is a trial and error move. make small adjustments at first to see the results, then adjust when you have it going the way you want.
when you do the calibrations still connected to PT2, you will see the adjustments on the camera. You won't need to disconnect or power the Phantom off.
