Yup! And if you can't understand the difference then it's likely not worth discussing any further. ...

So you just have no trust in the phantom then?
If that is the case then you should not fly it at all any where.
Almost all accident are caused by the the user. are you saying that only you are the trusty pilot and everyone else who does not do the same as you is a bad one?

dkruseski, nice flight!  My best so far is only about 6,000 feet at 300' altitude.  I may try boosters to up my confidence.  Also, just ignore ARM-001.  They are obviously a troll that gets a charge out of getting people excited about nothing.  Pathetic actually.  If you ignore the stupid comments and stay on topic they will soon get bored and try to pick a fight elsewhere.  They are not worth your time.

Need that last word, huh?

I guess since you've already acknowledged you were wrong, the last word ...

Sure thing, sounds as though you need this far more than anyone else here.

Thanks man! Distance is really more about your environment. Interference, both physical and electrical, are what limits it. That's why the shoreline is best for me. No physical objects in the way, and electrical is as minimal as I can find. It's funny though, if  you look at the healthy drones report, there is something out there that interferes with it just around the island. I hit it going out and coming back.

I've flown my bird enough now that I really have a lot of faith in the way that it handles and reacts. The RTH function, knowing that the bird will come back to the home point should it lose contact,  takes any stress out of going long distances. Find the right spot bud, and go for it.

As for the troll, no worries at all. He's good for a laugh. Let him stay in his plastic bubble, and the rest of us will have fun flying these wonderful machines.

How much more range with the  Argtrek do you think you got over the Standard Booster?

Cheers - do ...

I would estimate a good 50% over the standard ones. The Argtek just seem to give a more constant signal all around.

Is this special? I jsut got P3P, no range extender and flew 14000+ feet out, with stable picture. could have gone further but was getting a bit nervous due to battery running down.
