Hey everyone, this is my first post on these forums. I ordered my first ever drone and am very excited about it. I ordered the Phantom 3 4K (not the pro) and just have some questions about it. I picked it up for $599.99 on ebay brand new from a seller who is an Authorized Dealer. I think i got a great deal on a 4K Quadcopter at that price. Anyways, here are my questions-

-Does the 4k already come with a micro SD card? i watched an unboxing video online and it wasnt mentioned, but the ebay page says its included in the box from DJI. On DJI's website it does not say anything about one being included. I know some of the other models come with one so i was just a little confused.

-Related to the first question, which micro SD card are you guys running? Would a sandisk ULTRA or sandisk Extreme be sufficient for the 4k video? if so which one would you recommend?

-Ive read a lot about this new update, and about the interference issues resulting in a lost connection or something along those lines. Should i update when i get the drone in the next day or so or do i not even have an option? Will a new update be out soon?

-Where are you guys getting your extra batteries from? ide rather go with another OEM battery from DJI and not go to 3rd party sellers. Where can i get the best deal on a OEM one? I think we can all agree 160 is a pretty hefty price tag for a battery haha.

Thank you for the help in advance. I live on a very large river and only 15 minutes from Atlantic City so there are plenty of opportunities for some nice shot of the river, beaches, and casinos.

Yes, it should come with a 16GB SD card. These are the cards that I use and they work great.
DJI sell batteries and if you are talking 2rd party batteries THEY WILL NOT WORK.
You can buy OEM batteries from several dealers
And congratulations on your new aircraft and you got an incredible deal.

that's what I was looking for. maybe I worded it poorly but yes I want OEM batteries. I do not want any knock offs. I just wanted to know the best price you guys could find for them so thank you

Knock off batteries will not work, as the software recognizes that they are not OEM and does not allow takeoff. From my researching everyone is basically selling them for the same price so there does not appear to be one single good place over another to buy batteries.
