The first flight is like the first girlfriend, never forget

I learned to fly in a Syma X5C and then a X8W before to buy my P3P
While waiting to get, I read everything about Phantom and saw millions of videos on youtube
Then the big day and of course, I did several things wrong, I chose a low loocal and I was so scared of losing my Drone, that my hand was sweating so much and I needed to stop all the time to wipe my hand on the shirt
But when I got home and watch my first video, ahhhh, I found that flying was wonderful

and how was your first flight?

inside flying was a challange as my house is small
& i ended up with 17 crashes and destroyed 3 prop protectors
i used to fly it out at night with no wind and the kids in the
street would shout ufo & run after it lol i read up on the
phantom fc40 & watched the youtube videos to learn & heard that
many horror storys about fly aways with the gps that i only flew
it in atti for a year. i then modded it with gimbal and gopro
but my flight times went down to 6 minutes from 10 minutes
so had to be quick flying and do lots of planning in advance

I started with RC copters before GPS was on these things. hard to fly, time curve to learn and lots of crashes. had to learn how to build and fix any issues.
fast forward to the DJI P3P. So easy to fly. But I was scared on my first few outings.  never let it out of my site and I think I only flew a few min the first few time.

Ohhh, I should have filmed my first flight too, hahaha

I am so blown away by the level of stress and concentration my body language shows here! The 2nd video not that much better ;) Who knew we'll have technology like we do today, so soon! And despite the cost of DJI, it is still beyond what I'd expect, once I realized how much technology is in there.. Such things used to be $25K+ not that long ago...
