received my GH4 gimbal a few days ago, hooked up as per tutorial videos and manual. Fired it up for the first time, initialised and set up ok but I have no video output and a SOLID red light on the gimbal av output, not blinking but solid. Any ideas?
I've ensured the camera is set to 1080i.. Nothing mentioned in the trouble shooting text about solid red light, only blinking. I know the problem isn't my camera as I've used this gh4 in other zenmuse gimbals without problem.

Are you using Lightbridge? If so, you have to HDMI on from the phone App. The Lightbridge Assistant software does not have this built into it which just baffles me to be honest.

i had the same problem...

after i changed the "Systemfrequenz" on the GH4 from 50Hz to 59.94Hz all worked fine for me
