Hey guys my Inspire mount came in today, I have mounted it to my standard controller! Here is pictures of the extension holding the iPad Pro 12.9! The extender is PERFECT and the tolerances are PERFECT, fits like a glove!!!!!! I am going toadd a piece of foam on the extender just to comfort the iPad a bit more! Here are some pics....

You say it came in today, but it would appear that you have a 3-d printer and made it yourself.

Now the real test, how well does it hold up to long use.

The Inspire 1 device holder he received has his 3D bracket extension added for greater device size capacity.

It looks good, but yes, add the foam bit... For a more secure hold. ;-)

Thanks guys for clearing that up for me ! They are correct, got the inspire mount in today and was able to put on my 3d printed part! I will let you know the long term use and how it holds up! I'm loving the giant screen!!!!! Flying is so much fun!

It is a very cool idea. But the foam looks not strong enough to hold the iPad Pro.

Paladin- The foam on the inspire mount was actually strong enough to hold the iPad in place without adding foam to the new piece I printed. I have added foam to the new extension though just for reassurance. 1000 dollars following to its demise is not something I need. Lmfao
