I tend to disagree. In your photo I see a nice family, enjoying a special moment together. That looks like artwork for me. Just because artwork & heartwork are quite similar

Well, I have an awesome playground for filming, but that's not New Zealand, as I am located in Romania, but Bucovina is as good as you can get I'll let you know, with bird eye view, hopefully soon

It is my great pleasure to inform you that soon I will be able to contribute to this thread, sharing my own artwork, as my lovely bird arrived yesterday.
I will name it Coockoo, as my main reason for using this aerial platform is to continue my Coockoo Foundation project, entitled Lost End Found, a partnership estabilished between musicians & arhitects, working together to present Romanian architectural treasures of great beauty, many of which are in a desperate need of conservation and restoration.

I purchased the dual operator package, and I will use the DJI Pilot app with iPad Air 2 and Zeiss Cinemizer.
Updated succesfully the Inspire 1 & both of the controllers to the latest firmware, running on iOS App version 0.9.2
Also made a 3D print of the propeller locks, already posted some photos on the Propeller Locks thread on this forum, as I assume it will take a little bit longer to receive the originals from DJI.
For sure, an official iOS app would be great, but I am confident it will be solved in the next couple days.
That being said, I would like to share my point of view, after my first close encounter with Inspire, on the ground.
The moment you open the box, you realise on thing.
It was built with passion and consideration for details.
It is an object of design, in pure form, altough it features amazing technological skills.
It looks & it feels like there were no compromises made on this machine, and in my opinion the minds responsible for the development of this product are simply beautiful.
So I am grateful to be their supporter and to help them, with my purchase, to innovate further.
As a final note, I will tell you a little story.
Funny the way it is, the first merchandise t-shirt of my band, produced around 10 years ago, featured a simple statement.
The future holds unlimited possibilities.
And here I am today, ten years after, ready to make music in the sky, using the product of a company that has the following motto.
The future is possible.

This is my first "long-range" flight. The video is from Anastasia State Park...off the coast of St. Augustine, FL. A really well-maintained park with dunes and pristine beach. Yes...I am aware of the jello in the end scene...probably need a more powerful ND filter. I included it because of the hawk/eagle/whatever.

Nice aerial shots over the Castle Neu Schwanstein, Germany, really impressive.

Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see. I call bs on the permission to endanger human life. There is no way in hell you would ever get a permit to fly an Inspire with 4 props, no redundant power supply etc. over any Canadian city, ever! My understanding is even with an Octacopter it would be DENIED! Do not bother applying for permit you will NOT get it. Many of these were taken on the sly, the edge of legal. Some of these were done before regulations became enforced. And now with morons like the black man caught red handed by news crews, you can bet your bottom dollar your freedoms with UAV's just got a tad more restricted. I'll tell you what, if the quad? In the movie over the bridge had a centre post malfunction in its battery, there's a good chance someone would have been killed. No more bs, call it like it is. The video was beautiful, the way it was captured was dangerous.

However, he may well have gotten a permit, stranger things have happened
