Pretty much.  It holds the gimbal arms better so that in a crash or hard landings the whole camera and such wont just break off and rip the thin cable etc. to pieces.

Buy a new one. You would have an extra battery doing it this way, the battery by itself is worth 150 bucks plus the charger is another 20-30 bucks. BUT as some one mentioned, if possible move up to an advance. ALSO, on Amazon you can get a 50 dollar off a purchase for signing up for an AMZON credit card.

Yup. The problem is that the camera is held really only by the gimbal motors.
This little add-on helps to prevent a pop off resulting in damaged gimbal, cables, and camera.

Many have posted about a hard landing and the motor popped off resulting in the gimbal cable breaking off and resulting in the camera getting smashed.

This has not caused any issues with balance, usage or anything for me and is a great piece of mind.

Yup. small screwdriver. you take off the stock plastic back that really just hides the board, attached on the gimbal guard and you are all done.
What is nice is that it has a solid bar that goes under so keeps everything from popping off.

Here is a picture of how easy it pops off..

That appened to me... The problem is that is all broken...
is just not the motros... EVERYTHING!

So do you recomend to buy this guard and the guard to install on the legs of the drone?

I personally don't use Ebay anymore. I love Amazon, they are fast and always reliable.
