My p4 battwry crapped out 1 month into use. Sent it to DJI got new one in 7 days. So far, DJI has replaced 1-p2, 2-p3,and now the p4 battery. Never longer than 14 days. I've crashed many times with all phantoms, but own up to pilot error whem I'm to blame, but when they crap out for no reason, DJI always comes through...at least in my specific cases.
I have yet to have an issue with DJI not standing behind their products. I even sent one Phantom 3 Pro in for repair (clipped a dead swarrow putting one motor into the desert sand) where I told them straight up that it was pilot error and completely my fault and they still repaired it for free, the return paperwork said "motor replaced under warranty"... I'd love to be a fly on their wall in their warranty request office for just one day.
I too was treated very fairly after crashing my P 4 , I too admitted it was definitely pilot error, They charged me very little and i ended up with a brand new craft, Thank you DJI,
