How'd it go?  Did you get to 1.7 and did you notice any difference?  Interested if it says 1.7 or 1.7+.

Need some more information..  What Aircraft, what level did you install, etc?  That first message about the RC would seem to indicate that you were on a very very old level of the Remote Control's firmware.  You have to be at least level 1.3 on the Remote before you can upgrade the Remote Control firmware via the DJI-GO app..  You should be able to download that from the DJI site.  It will need to be installed via the USB method.  From there you can get to the latest levels for the Remote Control via the app.

PLEASE PLEASE help...I have v1.10.90 on a P3P. I tried this method but the light stayed green and it keep beeping D-D the entire time. It didn't work for me. Is there another way to roll back the "Aircraft" Firmware from v1.10.90?

where did you guys find the old firmware files?
