1) what does that mean
2) how do i do that.

Hello cujoAir, it means your battery's firmware version is not up to date.The way to upgrade the battery is the same as the drone's upgrading.Hope these video could help you:

So do I just need to insert each battery in the drone an upgrade them individually?
