The decisions to replace or not, are arbitrary on both sides of the fence. You can hardly call them inventions. People have been replacing things before they break or wear for just about as long as people have been choosing not to. I would simply advocate operating within your comfort zone. It's a good possibility a fresh set of props could go a thousand hours if not abused. That being said, I'll probably want to change them at some point prior to that, just to err on the side of caution. Chances are, I'll run it into something before then and it won't matter. To each his own. I wash my truck every now and then, and some people have to do it weekly.

It is a Prop Conspiracy!!
