how to install .ipa file now?

I'm having the same problem with glitchy video. I can't get more than a couple seconds of clean video. Just Downloaded to the 2.8.1  Do I have to do anything to the p4 itself? thanks. Also fyi the 817278603 was the 2.81 file. Thanks

Just install DJI GO App' 2.8.1 and that should be it, back to a reasonably good platform

Nothing to do to P4. Check settings maybe.

OK, just do a complete reset on your device and and choose a back up time and date...going to may 22nd on mine before it updated on the 25th....YES!!!!!

Do a restore from iCloud or iTunes before the app updated is my suggestion

Just tested the 2.8.1 works like a charm Thanks

Yeh, it's almost like Christmas again getting the Ol' P4 back again, now if they could sort out horizon tilt and vertical drop after stop my world would be complete (Well, almost).

You can't do that if you dont have a software backup to itunes / icloud.. and also this is not help the people who are buy a phantom 4 in last week.. they can download only the new broken software.

I didn't have an old ver either. I followed this video.


Used this number (the video will explain) also you'll need to copy from the actual file not just type the number. 817278603

just tried for 3 hours to get the ipa installed in every way possible and none works

You cannot install someone else's .ipa file as they are code signed to their account that downloaded the file.

As problems go, this one seems pretty minor. I did a test flight yesterday and ran into brief dropouts in the video signal with the occasional warning of weak video. Seems like a software glitch. I am using a fully updated iPad Mini 2. I am updating the P4 right now but know it won't affect the video dropouts.

I've experienced this problem with this and previous versions of DJI Go.  I resolve it by unplugging the USB and then plugging it back in.  This always resolved the issue for me.

There is no need now to go back to 2.8.1 (this was a short term fix), 2.8.3 resolved this problem, and Apple devices are now up to version 2.8.6.

Hardware decoding should normally be beneficial, I would leave it switched on. Have you tried a different lead ?

I tried 2.9.2 & IOS 10 on an iPad Pro 9.7" in flight for the first time yesterday, all seemed fine.

Have you tried a different location (perhaps interference) ?
I assume the antenna are orientated correctly ?

Seems interference related currently using channel 13 any suggestions

Yes, switch to automatic, it will change channels when interference detected. It should be left on auto for best result.
