Prop balancing and creating aerodynamic instability???

OK, so I have my EJH Precision Prop Balancer which is actually itself balanced unlike the last shaft I got. Two of the eight props for my P3P are perfectly balanced. 2 are somewhat off. 4 are way off.

So if I sand the underside to trim the weight, is there a chance I could be creating a an aerodynamic imbalance that would more than offset the correction to the weight balance?

I just add small pieces of tape to the top of the prop until it's balanced.

So adding to the top will increase left on that side. Adding to bottom will shouldn't increase lift.

So why are you adding to the top then?

Hre should not be adding to the top, it just interrupts the smooth airflow over the top of the foil. You should add to the bottom. The object is not to alter lift but alter the weight. I never use tape anyway, I sand on the heavy side.
