I recently went to do a firmware upgrade on my phantom 3 standard. During the upgrade the aircraft got turned off. It appears I have the app version 2.8.2 but my phantom is on version 1.6.80 and it's causing loss of video feed. I've tried a number off different things but can't seem to resolve it.

Hello Jamie, first, it would be better to post the upgrade log here.You can find it by these steps. Second, please format the SD card in the camera and reinstall the app in order to re-upgrade the drone.
Steps to find the hidden log file:
1. Enable the option of viewing hidden files in your OS. Below are the websites where you can check how to show the hidden files in your PC.
For The Windows System:

2.Enter the root directory of the SD card, then find the hidden folder MISC and enter it. There is LOG folder in it.
3.The LOG txt file is under the LOG folder.
