I am looking for camera spec. The one explained in the website is not complete. For instance, sensor size, pixel size, shutter speed are not given.
Where I can find the full details of the camera ?

Question on the camera? The Phantom 2 Vision camera would accept a 46mm filter which was readably available. The Inspire camera comes with a Neutral Density Filter and a filter on the camera. Is the clear filter on the camera just a piece of glass or is it a 1A Skylight Filter which cuts the Haze? The other issue is that the DJI Filters are threaded to screw over the lens. All other Filters are made to thread into the camera front. This eliminates the purchase of very badly needed filters on the open market. Photographers need the capability of purchasing various filters. I don't mind that if DJI is going to make various filters available with the threads on the inside of the filter instead of the outside to adapt to the camera.

Is there any reason why you would take this filter off?  I always like a bit of protection in front of my lens ...

Yes, for photos and video after sunset or on a very dark day you want to use the clear filter to bring in more light. Night shots look much better with the clear filter.

Compared to fitting an ND filter to a naked go-pro the Inspire 1 solution is great.  

The weight of the third party filters for the Go-pro puts quite a strain on the balance of the H3-3D gimbal and is not advised by DJI although it is essential for getting high quality shots, no jello shots, with the go-pro.

I found problems using a ND Filter on the Go pro in a heavy wind. the wind would catch the back of the filter and cause the whole camera to flip back and forth.  When I first heard about the Inspire 1 camera being supplied with a ND filter I was reassured that DJI had really considered the issues that people had encountered.

No doubt some 3rd party small company will start selling a range of filters for the Inspire 1.

Ah.  So there's more than one filter supplied with the Inspire 1?

But its back ordered till 2025 Pre order now.lol.

You get a UV filter and an ND filter (I suspect it's a 2-stop filter)

page 58 in the user manual (download) has complete specs for camera.

Thank you, that will work. The Skylight Filter is a tad bit better at doing the same thing but the UV will work. Do you know if DJI is going to have a line of Filters available?

I wouldn't take it off. A Filter is a lot less expensive than the Camera. You always want to protect the Lens, scratches don't come off, the Filter will.

Hi, the camera lens have a special glass lens element used to optimize optical performance. For the digital cameras, UV filters and ND filters are the choice of most users.

I accidentally dropped my camera from about 1 foot off the ground... wow, broke the lens cover.  Sure glad it was there.  Then after spending about an hour on hold and talking with support, I found out that nobody had any information about a replacement.  found one on Amazon that is threaded on both side.  37mm  product/B00G6IZZGO with 2 day shipping, I received today.... Works great!
