DJI - PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING!
Faced with the fact that there are now hundreds (or even thousands) of pilots that have found Major Problems with iOS Go App V2.8.2 which has made their Quads unusable after updating virtualy grounding the iOS users.
The correct thing for DJI to do would be to admit that 2.8.2 has major problems and roll back to 2.8.1 in Apple App Store whilst they fix, properly test and release a new version.
Good reasons for doing this:
1. Give DJI more Creditability as they will have done the right thing. (and get the heat off their backs)
2. Give DJI Time to fix and properly test a release. (Insted on hurriedly trying to fix and potentially release another bodged version)
3. Give end users/pilots a simple/easy/automatic way to get their quads working again.
4. Stop further users/pilots complaining, and escalating issues. (and in the worst case returning their quads for a refund)
5. Stop even more/unaware pilots accidentally updating and running into issues.
6. Prevent DJI from further getting a bad reputation.
DJI - We are all human and make mistakes - There is Nothing Wrong in admitting you got it wrong and are working to fix it! - It Is The Right Thing To Do.
