Has anyone tried using an atomos recorder with the lightbridge, whats the quality like, is the lightbridge sending down 10bit 4:2:2 or is there no point using an external recorder?

I would not trust in lag/artifacts free transmission from Lightbridge...

Try use 4K and downscale to 1080 4:2:2 (best you can do). Or use BMPCC.

I use the Hauppauge rocket pvr and it works great..  way cheaper than atomos too
