PROBLEM AFTER P3S 1.6.80 UPDATE! RC LOST SIGNAL

Hey!

After the last update for Phantom 3 Standard (1.6.80) my aircraft is disconnecting after 3 minutes.
I tried to relink the RC but nothing happened. I think theres is a bug on the firmware.
Is there anybody else with the same problem?

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues. To clarify, have you reset the WiFi Module, or just the RC itself? Do you notice if the WiFi connection is disconnecting, or does it appear stable? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the DJI GO app?

Yes, I did everything! WiFi Module, RC, Uninstall and reinstall app and everything else..
The camera view and all the informations are disconnecting but the RC keeps working..
I can control the aircraft..

I just want to make sure that I'm visually on the same page. When you connect to the Phantom's WiFi, do you notice that the mobile device indicates that the WiFi connection disconnects then reconnects?

No!
I use normally but after some minutes the camera view stops and the home page shows this message..

When you say it "didn't work", did it not downgrade or it downgraded but not fix the problem?

Bummer!
Maybe try upgrading the same way. Another member had the exact opposite experience. Downgrading to 1.5.7 caused the problem but upgrading to 1.6.8 put him back in business.
Another thing you might try is this method - http://forum.dji.com/thread-53562-1-1.html - Some say that it does a better job of resetting the drone and forces all modules to reload. Of course the "link button" is in a different location.

The link button location is different on the standard than it is on the pro and advanced (as shown in the video) models.

Hello matheusalcantar, if you haven't formatted your SD card, feel free to post the hidden upgrade log here.You can find it by these steps:
1. Enable the option of viewing hidden files in your OS. Below are the websites where you can check how to show the hidden files in your PC.
For The Windows System:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/show-hidden-files#show-hidden-files=windows-7
For The Mac System:
http://ianlunn.co.uk/articles/quickly-showhide-hidden-files-mac-os-x-mavericks/
2.Enter the root directory of the SD card, then find the hidden folder MISC and enter it. There is LOG folder in it.
3.The LOG txt file is under the LOG folder.
Besides, you can try to relink the RC and drone at first: 3C对频.JPG

Dear Paladin. Thank you for being so active and helping us all out.

The real issue is actually with the latest application as well as the firmware or a combination of both.

I was facing the same issue as well as what everyone else has been facing after about ~50 m of flight, I would lose signal and RTH would kick in.

Downgraded the firmware to an older version as well as used an order version of the DJI GO app on my phone. Now getting better range up to 200m.

Maybe DJI should just accept it's fault with the firmware/application.

ebrahim you are right Paladin is jut doing his job.
I suggest you to write an email to the support and ask for refund.
May be if all of us ask for a refund somenthing will move

Hi Paladin! Thank u for ur attention..
Yes, I formatted my SD card.
And I tried to relink the RC but it didn't work..
When the aircraft is ok it works, but when the aircraft disconnects, the relink doesn't work..

And I dont need to fly to the disconnection occurs..
On my own desk, for "tests", its happening..
I did the downgrade but didnt fix the problem =/

I agree with u.. DJI should just accept it's fault with the firmware/application.

I wrote already an email to support telling everything but they are still saying that I have to do some steps .
They dont admite that is a problem with them(firmware/app)..

Guys i told you: send an email to support.
Today they told me that i have only one choice: send p3s to repair service, no refund (only on the first 7 day from purchase...well it's funny, my p3s arrived after 10 days )
I am only one but if they receive hundred request for this issue maybe something will happen.

I did it now!
It didn't work too..

I dont know what DJI is waiting....
I just tried everything the support and users told me but the wifi keeps disconnecting...
