Can you confirm on wording please, the impression is that this update may cause more of a weak transmission signal as well as may cause issue with 2.7k res on p3

or is it meant to say it has fixed these issues and will not cause any more loss of signal ?

RESET THE COLOR SETTINGS!

If you don't reset the color settings in movie settings, your fpv image is totally blur.. I change first the resolution 1080p to -> 4k, nothing change. But when you change the D-Log -> none and then back -> D-log or Cinelike etc it works.

It is a known issue. Currently you can select the Color Mode to None to get back the clear live feed. Our R&D team members are doing their best to find out a best solution.

Yes this is ok but It would be easier to tell it as soon as general users If you know a bug.. please tell it.. don't wait that people are find it by self.. thanks

It looks that is is now workig..

I have a little bit problem with gimbal.. it drifts left and right about 20 degrees itself.. but not every time. Need to try fix this. I have make now 5 times calibration and few times it works.. and then starts drifting again.

My gimble doesn't drift , but now angles itself slight up ... A gimble calibration sorts it, but I have to do it each time

I have been running with stable image for about an hour and no reports of weak transmission nor any artifacts at all, iPhone 6s plus running DJI GO 2.8.3, RC @ 1.6 and aircraft @ 1.1.410.

Just about to try same on iPad pro 9.7.

I hope to get out later today for some flying if the wind dies down a bit.

So waiting for Android version...

I take the "allow 30 degrees tilt up" setting OFF - and that helps

Really? Why would they release an update with the purpose of making matters worse. The grammar is a little broken but " Fix" has one meaning in this context. Good News!

It was my understanding, these issues were only affecting iOS devices. Was this not the case?

Where can I verify my version in the DJI go app.  And is it best to update via my Mac or do I need to be plugged up to the PH4.

Why was the description changed to only say P4??  On both my iPhone and iPad app store descriptions the list about the transmission fix only says P4.  Someone in Phantom Pilots showed one that matches the description you posted Paladin, including both P3A and P3P..

OK.. Seriously no offense intended at all, but if you're asking these questions you need to get the manual out and read up a bit..  :-)

The app update does not require any connection to the P4 or Remote Control.  It is updated via the App Store on your IOS device.  To find out what level your app is at along with the firmware levels of the aircraft and remote control you need to have your IOS device connected to the remote control and the aircraft and remote control connected.  When you start the DJI Go app go to the "About" section.  It will list what you're looking for.  If you're brand new, it's OK.. but you really need to know how to make these connections and understand how to check for things for ongoing operation..  There are online tutorials to get you started..

None taken. I just found my version in the app.  I opened DJI GO, hit the "me" icon in the lower right, then settings. I'm at v2.8.3

Glad to hear and again nothing intended, just suggesting you get to know where everything about the aircraft is.. Aside from hearing it here, the aircraft will also alert you to new firmware updates needed, etc.

LIVE VIEW BLURRY

My live view is also blurry. I Reset the color settings as suggested and it didn't work. Please let people know of a fix when ready.

I have the same question.

My live view settings were OK right after the upgrade.  I didn't have to do anything.  FWIW, I'm using an iPad Air running DGI Go 2.8.3

Since the Standard is not listed, it will be interesting to test this and see the results.

All the versions you have (app, RC, aircraft) are in the General Settings, then About tab.
This is an app update, so it's done through the app store on your IOS device.

Ha! nice to hear the DJI owned the issues and worked to resolve them! Hope they were successful! Looks like the fix came out rather fast amidst all the complaining on IOS devices!
Please be so responsive on all the issues, including actual firmware! It would be great to find out that some issues people report across the board have actually been at least somewhat confirmed and you guys are attempting to correct them! A hard job to do, but then again, if you are the most popular maker of an amazing aircraft, you got to own up to the greatness!

The description at the top of this post does not match the description in the App store. The one above shows the Advanced included but in the App store I see only P4 included for the transmission issue.
