Hi all,
Just wondering if any of you have any experience with the DJI apps such as DJI auto pilot and DJI assistant utilities. I own a P3A and I'm wondering if they're worth having.

Always hate to bump posts but has anybody had any experience with theses two apps?

I'm a new Phantom 3 4K owner. Does the DJI Ground Station Software work with this model without adding hardware? Or no because the control uses 5.8 Ghz?

I'd love to help you with your question Copterwrench but I'm not familiar with Ground Station.  I'm still awaiting a reply to my posts original question as well.

No it does not work for the P3 or P4.

Hey they look like neat apps, I'll spend the $30 to check them out.  Didn't know they existed until your post.

Im not familiar with the 2 apps you mentioned, but the Litchi app is well worth the money

Hi Rex, is the Autopilot from Autoflight Logic that you're talking about? It's a third party app similar to Litchi. Each of them has their own specialties. As for the Assistant it can help you with firmware upgrades.

Sorry Rex. That may have been my fault. I have been trying to work with DJI Phantom Flight App and Flight School Autopilot. Very feature packed programs My problem as a new Phantom Owner is I'm still in the learning stage. I was an aircraft mechanic by trade but I am still learning all the features of these birds. With both apps I was easily able to plot flight plans and connect to the bird but with both shortly afterwards they will disconnect. I have been checking the settings and  I am still trying to get them to work. We use to say to pilot's that "the problem is the loose nut wearing the headset" well I think in this case it's the loose nut behind the Ipad. I'll keep you posted and If you get some good info please let me know.

Ground station won't work with Phantoms but the other two I mentioned are supposed to.

I don't find any app Autopiliot from DJI, there is the well known Autopilot from Flightlogic but that company has nothing to do with DJI.

Auto pilot is not from DJI sorry if I miss stated that.

it was a loose Nut behind the tablet( Me) so far all the things I've tried with Autologic Autoflight have worked flawlessly on my P34K.
