Have to wait and see, but I'm guessing that only the primary slave would have camera control when in regular mode and flight control when in coach mode.
And your 2nd question, I would think no other RC's would be able to have gimbal control if in coach mode and the primary RC had flight control.
But again, let's wait and see what a full detailed description says.

No, I did not find that out in the simulator.

I executed the CSC through the Slave RC when in Coach mode, which started all 4 motors of the I1. Pushing the left stick up, and the I1 took off.

I had not tried CSC to kill the bird mid-flight though

Thanks str1776. I wish I could, but I don't have sufficient time to take the needed shots for composing a neat video for uploading to Youtube.

Back to the subject of Coach mode which was spotted by Rich - I remember I read a topic in other forum about the distance limitation for a clear video feed from the bird to the slave RC. It was observed by quite a few Inspire 1 users that their gimbal / camera operating buddies would experience jerky or even no video feed on their slave RCs from their Inspire 1s at not-so-far-away flying distances (several hundred metres only) when the video down feed to their own master RCs was still perfect up to several kM.

It was suspected that either the 5.8GHz Tx from Slave RC Tx antenna reduced the sensitivity of the 2.4GHz Rx antenna of the Slave RC, or the Slave RC were not successfully keeping pace with the 2.4 GHz band-hopping between the Master RC and the Inspire 1. Such limitation was said to be inherent by design.

My mentioning of this is to hope folks here will aware of this possible limitation when flying in Coach mode, so as not to let those learning guys get frighten by early experiencing of any lost of video feed, discouraging their confidence in mastering the aircraft.

It should have noting to do with what version an Inspire is, it's just a feature added to the app that puts commands from master to slave I would think.

No, I have not done any testing  and was waiting to hear from Ken or Tim of DJI for more details...  I was flying near the River in this area with my buddy and really did not want to try Coach over the water...

we had a great time flying over the river and he took this video with his phone while I was waiting to land on the river bank. The Inspire was locked in very nicely over the water... I was having some trouble with the compass calibration prior to this...

The slow-mo revealed how concentrate the downwash was. I thought it spreads out widely until watching your video.

I did not switch off the VPS... I thought about switching it off based on Tim's video... but I wanted to see how it would react to the water moving. I must say, it worked perfectly for two flights.   I was ready to react if the Inspire decided to mess up over the water. Most of the low level shots were about 1.5-2.5 meters above the water...

I was playing around the exposure and color in post. The sun was at a bad angle causing some tuff exposures for us.

I just want to ask whether DJI has any plan to enable the Flight Controller Setting Menu and the Battery Information Menu of the Slave RC in future updates (of RC firmware? or of DJI GO App?). I think for the learner to establish a habit of preflight / in-flight checking on MOD values of IMU sensors and compass, and the battery cells voltages / temperatures is essential.

I'm not sure any if that would ever be added, as the coach mode is meant to be a trainer to fly and not get into the app features. But you never know.

Would this coach mode become available for Lightbridge 2 controllers?

It seems to work fine for the Inspire 1 and Phantom 4.
Anyone tried this with a Phantom 3 or Lightbridge 2?
