Embarrassing but here goes.
Finally shot stills (RAW) with my P3A. Put the SD card in the reader and see that all the pics are rlv files. How the heck does one view them. I can't open them. Must I download the

Basic Realizer Careal Clipart to view these?

They should be DNG files when put into your computer and you need a editing program to view them.

Thanks Ken, but then why do they show up as RLV files?

Your photos/ videos will be in the DCIM folder when you put the SD card into your computer.

yes, all videos are there, playable with VLC or Windows Media Player, but there are no photos in that folder. All eight pics are in the MISC folder....all labeled .RLV.... weird

I am at a loss concerning .RLV files.  I can find no true explanation of what they are! (not on this site or on Professional Pilots).  Why would so many people have these files, which everyone wants to label as Low Resolution Video, with this extension?  Is .RLV  --->  .lrv  simply a Chinese translation glitch?
I didn't realize they existed until "spring cleaning" my comptuer and then found 50 files (3.5GB)!  Will not play in Windows Media Player!
