Hi All

We have a Osmo X3 black & I want to use it on are Inspire 1 Pro to reduce the weight for specific project to reduce the payload weight & increase the flight time. Can this be done without any issues re DJI Go app & control over the camera ?

No, OSMO cameras do not work on any Inspire models.
Inspire cameras can work on OSMO, not the other way around.

I have connected the X3 black Osmo to the pro & I have a perfect image but no control over the camera , I thought it might just be a software issue, that's DJI all over.

Yep, they took the X3/FC350 camera and gimbal and modified it for OSMO ground operation X3/FC350H, making it incompatible with the inspire. Page 26 of the OSMO manual highlights this -> Click here to open the OSMO User Guide.

Seems the gimbal is modified and the tilt motor is different. The OSMO camera is focused at 1.5 meters and beyond and probably has unnecessary airborne component removed.

As the others have said, you cannot use a Osmo camera to an Inspire.
