Great job.  Now if that could be incorporated into the Litchi App that would be fantastic.

Just keep in mind, trees aren't taken into consideration, nor are guide lines or towers or power lines... {:4_142:}

Thanks!  You answered a question I placed on a prior thread about relative altitude!

In your experience, how accurate are the ground elevation data maps?

I would say within 10-15 ft on average. Just consider wires and trees before a flight

Ok, but if you ste your height above the ground to 45 m and you make sure thaere are no powerlines in the path it would worok, right ?
I tested your system for a trip to Itally where we have a house on a hillside. I set the flying height to 45 meters and then made a path to the center of town which is considerably higher on an other hill.
So the path starts at 45 meters, goes down to -21 m at the bottom of the valley between the two hils and thengoes up again to 85 at th etop of the town on top of a castle that probably will indeed be some 40 meters high. So, even in the valley where the waypoint says "-21" it will still be 45 m above ground level, right, so that I don't hit threes or (normal) houses in the valley  ?
Thanks for sharing by the way !
