Hi, I potentially might have a big industrial contract coming up & am exploring way to get more accurate photogemmetry.
It seems you need RTK for this to get 2cm accuracy rather than 5m accuracy of the normal dji drones with normal GPS data.

YOu can either do this on the ground by mapping out set spots with special gps rtk equipment and then inputting those spots into software which then corrects all the data but it is quite slow & the survey rtk equipment is £10,000+

Or you can put an RTK directly on your drone.

The matrice 600 sounds like it could be the one but any more info on release dates for the matrice 600 + the RTK.

The main thing I would like to know is will it put the RTK gps corrections into the photo metadata or would I need to post process this info?

Hi Jamie, how does this system map the gps coordinates to the pictures taken by the camera as there's obviously a gap of lets say a couple of inches between the camera and the rtk unit.

Can you explain how the +/- 2cm accuracy is overlayed into the photography or thermal images? Interested to learn more about how of this works?

That will be nice. I noticed that the purchase information quotes the delivery as between 40 to 50 days.
In effect, DJI is taking preorders. If you order anything from DJI, check the delivery estimates.
