I used to have custom settings, but I guess they were reset during an update sometime so they were all at 0. Which is fine with me because it did not seem to after the final image one way or the other.

No filters when you are taking a photograph since you can adjust the shutter speed without affecting anything. The need for ND filters is to reduce light while keeping the shutter speed lower to reduce the jello effect or get a cinematic look to your video.
