I have a P4 .
How can I edit my videos without loosing the quality of the image?
What editing software will do that on a Mac or Pc?
Then how can I burn a DVD without loosing the image quality?

Max image resolution on a DVD is 720 x 576 so not even HD, better off burning to a Blu-Ray instead if you want to retain the picture resolution for HD content

Hello wcdecarie, you can use adobe premiere or Final cut pro to edit your videos. Like what bryn1 says above, Blu-Ray disk would be a better choice.

Blue Ray is a Disc Format which allows higher resolution video to be stored. It is not a  video editing software.
But I think you should forget about DVD or Blue Ray all together. These are technologies of the past.
What you need is a USB stick of 128 or 256 Gb at least  . In most modern TV's you can plug the stick in directly in the TV and watch your video's at full resolution (if your TV supports them, of course).

Ive been researching this that and the other PhanFran yet didnt even think of that. Can play it through my bluray players usb slot. Staring me right in the face :-) thanks
