Has anyone tried to use the Black Magic Micro Cinema Camera with the P3? Their website shows it with a P2. If so, please share.

There is no point really, as the P3 has a gimball designed for the Phantom camera and it is not compatible in any way with the Blackmagic MCC. If you want to carry the BMCC, then you are better off with a P2 and not have to pay for the camera system in the first place.

Other than the gimble issue,  why do you even need this? Is the camera better than that of P3's ?

Yes, in many ways it is.

Hello jzelek1, both of the phantom 3 and 4 can only use their own camera and gimbal. Any 3rd-party camera is not supported.
