Jan, I have experimented with these settings for the same reasons. To soften things up a bit. I don't think you can change these while you are flying. Haven't tried that, but I don't think it would be a good idea even if you could. One bad input might be might be catastrophic! Your equipment needs to be turned on though, but the motors should not be running. At least that is what I did if I remember correctly. If I don't have my copter on and connected, when I open the app it has all the default values for a lot of those things. After I am connected it shows the correct changes I have made in the past. I am guessing the RC must write to the copter and it stores the info onboard in an EPROM or something...or maybe on the SD-card. Not trying to sound like I know that for sure but seems to be logical. I have changed them several times with good results. I have also changed the gain setting a bit too. I don't have the thread on it, but there is a good video that explains what those functions do and what to be aware of when you change them. Just search for gain-settings on this forum or maybe on You-Tube, and I'm sure you will find it if you want. |
