My P3P has been sent for repair
They have quoted the repair at $400? by the way the drone was in perfect working order prior to this, it just stopped working all of a sudden?
I am disappointed in DJI for this, The issue was the gimble motherboard failing. No crashes no mistreatment of drone (beloved Prized possession) and in order for me to continue to use it beyond 12 months, i have to pay a 1/4 of the sale price again? I dont think thats right, not only that but i have been charged freight in the invoice? All case's i here on here seem to have free freight? to be honest, i could have purchased and installed a full new camera & gimbal myself for slightly more, and thats just going of the spare parts prices online?!? Now DJI have my drone and are over charging me?
I started at Phantom 1, 3 years ago and worked my way up to P3P last year, as you know these things arnt cheap, but now i have to fork out 1/4 of the purchase price just to get it going again so i can sell to upgrade? Very Disappointing. Id appreciate if someone at DJi can look into this? Gimbal mother board failing 1 month out of warranty seems like rort to me, searching these forums it seems pretty common.
