Nice composition on the top one. Would probably benefit from a little colour correction and greater contrast to get some greater depth. Did you shoot it RAW?
You might wasn't to look into shooting jpg + raw. There's so much more you can do with a raw file in terms of processing to make a good photo even better.

That's true, but if he doesn't edit photos after the fact it's kinda useless to shoot raw. OP, if you don't edit photos on your computer, keep shooting in jpeg.
